If you can declare your gender, why can you not declare your race?

Obama was not “black” He was half white and half black. he was consider the first Black President because he did not disagree with the ideal.

And he should not have, because if you ask people more people would look at him and say he is black…

I went to high school with a half Jewish half Cuban girl. She was actually a lighter shade of brown (More on this later) then I am. (I.E. Whiter then me)

Most the people in our high school called her a Latina.

Her mother considered her Spanish. (Like the NATION of Spain)

He called herself Jewish. (Which is a Religion, but also a stand in for Hebrew, which is a race)

Your Biological sex is not a social construct. Its one of a few different ways your body can develop… not there are not two.. there are closer to five. Its just that three or so of those are actually what happens when your body malfunctions and diviates from the two normal biological sexs.

GENDER… Is a social construct. To the extent that many cultures have more then two genders to start with.

Genetics are not….

Genetically I’m like… 90% From the English Part of The UK. With some Scottish,Welsh and French thrown in. That effects some stuff, but over all I’m human.

I can prove it real quick.

#1: How many races are there? Three right? Asian/White/Black? Nope.. There are four…. (Well by that model) Because Aboriginal is separated from those three. Two of the Four also have REALLY un-pc names.

#2: As I was talking about above.. Humans are not white/black.

They are brown…. all of them.

Every Naturally occurring (That is not albino) skin tone is brown….

All of those people are brown.

That’s because skin is all a matter of how much of two pigments (both brown) you have.

#4: If your from say… Iraq? What race are you?
Because the answer in that three (four) group answer. white/black/asian. Is white.

Middle Easterners are white.

As are Latino's. Spanish people and so on.

But if your in Brazil there are actually 40+ Races. (Recognized)

You can absolutely pick your race.

I could tell people I was Scottish.
Or English.

Or French.
I could say I’m White.

I can say I’m American.

I can say I’m Jewish.

What will everyone else call you?

New Virginia the newest victim of "Right to work"

Dispute the overwhelming evidence that Right to work laws have not improved the job market, economy or fiscal health of any state they have been introduced in, West Virginia has joined the growing list of victims.

To the contrary, Right to work states and the introduction of the law seam to the do the contrary, stagnation of wages. Slowed job growth.

At some point the GOP must come to understand that workers are customers. Lower wages means less money in the system to purchase goods and services.

Kentucky females now have to meet with a doctor before abortion.

In another shameful display of female shaming Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin sighed a bill that would force women in the state of Kentucky to meet with a doctor before terminating a pregnancy... You know that thing that requires you to meet with a doctor to have the procedure done?

Let me just explain that to you again. They must meet with a doctor to explain why they are now meeting with a doctor to have something done. Like a child having to ask permission instead of like a adult. Again the GOP proves that it is for small government unless a Vagina is involved.

The Russians continue to not Impress in Syria.

The Russians have. In Recent years not impressed anyone.
It now seams like the Russians are unable to really preform in any meaningful way that does not involve simply throwing weapons at the enemy until they win.
Now that's not to say that the Russian Military is not large, and large enough to handle most of the problems they face. Just that they seam to have some serious problems.

The terrible failure of the Russian in Afghanistan actually trumps the US defeat in Vietnam.
The Russian Failure to really effect Chechian Rebels.

The Russian Georgian Conflict did end in a Mostly Russian Victory, But it was a embarrassing performance from a nation that should have had no trouble with the small Georgian Force left to defense there nation while most of there experienced troops where away in Iraq. (Helping the US, Who under George W Bush Did nothing about it) Bush "looking into Putin's heart and finding a friend." Or as a like to put it. "Bush looked Putin in the face, and wet himself, then hid like a coward"

The Russian "Involvement" In the Ukraine has not been impressive ether.
Most notable the Russian Air force, once one of there most impressive feats of military might. Is falling out of the air. Six jets in eight weeks. The Russian Military Budget simply can not sustain the effort.

Russian had tried to buy new equipment from the west, but that has now stalled after the Ukraine.
Russian Arms exports have had trouble.. India sending back jet fighters (Mig-29's) They have purchased because they had been badly made.

And now in Syria.
One third of Russian Attack planes are grounded.
One half of transport planes are grounded.
At least one Orlan-10 drone has been shot down or crashed. Mind you this drone is little more then a large RC plane.

And at least one Russian Fighter has been shot down by Turkish F-16's after the Jet Crossed into Turkish Air Space and did not leave when ordered to three times.

China is more Capitalist then the United States.

I've lived in a place that runs on "capitalist" ideals much more then the US.. Its actually china. No EPA, No safety, VERY low minimum wage. Want to see a America without Socialist ideals... go to a sweat shop in China. Ya the ideal that "Socialism is always bad" Is dangerous. And the Military SHOULD NEVER be a private venture my battle buddies are not mercenaries for hire. The are guardians of society.
