So it stuns me that Trump is now the 2nd or 1st depending on the poll numbers your following GOP contender. And it makes me quite happy that Sanders is the 2nd in the DNC.
The thing that strikes me however is that this is a good example of far right vs far left.
Even sanders who is pretty much the farthest left you can get, is still not so far left that swing voters shy away from him. Which is not the case with Trump.
Even in my VERY red part of South Eastern Kentucky, people here are disgusted by the ideal of Trump. They will openly tell you they will vote for Clinton over Bush. And most will just laugh at the ideal of Trump as the POTUS. But even they respect Sanders.
A Sanders vs Bush run would be close.
A Clinton vs Bush will most likely not be so close.
But a Sanders vs Trump run would be down right embarrassing for Trump.
I don't even think Trump can Hope for a VP place.
